  20. TVPaint is a drawing program designed by artists for 
  21. artists. It contains all the drawing and image processing 
  22. tools you would expect to find in a graphics program, and 
  23. more...

  25. As an artist orientated application, it comes with a 
  26. number of features and 'details' that means the artist 
  27. will find work a delightful experience.

  29. TVPaint works with 16 million colors and each pixel has 
  30. 256 levels of transparency. The use of transparency in 
  31. this way is one of the keys to TVPaint's power. It 
  32. allows the user to place several images in separate 
  33. layers and mix them in teal time, taking into account 
  34. the transparency of each pixel tin the process. This 
  35. multilayered approach is of prime importance, it
  36. gives the artists incredible freedom and allows then to 
  37. 'play around' with the image in ways that were 
  38. previously impossible and always with the highest 
  39. possible quality of smoothing between images. At any 
  40. time the artist can be working with up
  41. to three images which combine to form a single project.

  44. aspect of the program: drawing tools (pen, airbrush...), 
  45. drawing functions (straight lines, freehand...), and
